"Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are His, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture."
Dear Partners,
We so love and appreciate you very much. Thank you for your prayers and financial support!
CONNECTION
Christmas remains a season of giving. God so loved us He gave. In fact, He gave his best; His one and only Son. As we enter December, I am so thankful and appreciative for your gifts and financial support. Your gifts have allowed us:
- To have time as a family to be refreshed and grow together for Jesus while in MS.
- To be involved in the ministry of Ballet Magnificat; especially our son Jacob.
- To send Marcia and Abigail to the Japan Supplemental School and get involved with the Japanese community here in Jackson.
- To continue talking and relating with contacts in Japan and Asia.
- To take a medical mission trip to the Philippines with people from Japan.
As we look to the end of the year, I am reminded of how important it remains to finish well. Although we do what we can to make ends meet here, our time in MS depends on the support and prayers of individuals, families, and churches such as yourselves. These partners connect with us so that we might finish the assignment we have here in 2012 and lay foundations for 2013.
Would you consider sowing a significant gift into this ministry during this month? We desire to be good stewards of what God has for us to accomplish. And, we look forward to expanding for His Kingdom sake in 2013.
FAMILY UPDATE
As we approach Christmas, God leads us in so many exciting ways. Here is an update:
Michelle:
In addition to being a wife and mother, she continues to be used in the costumes area at Ballet Magnificat. Not only that, she continues to be a comfort and encouragement to those serving in this fruitful and effective ministry. I am so thankful for her and her "on fire" heart for God.
Samantha:
She just got her braces off. What a beautiful set of teeth. I can't thank my brother Chuck, the orthodontist, enough for his gift to us. She continues to seek God and make plans for next year. We so appreciate her as she prepares to launch out.
Jacob and Abigail:
They continue to remain active dancing with the ministry of Ballet Magnificat. God uses them to minister in churches, nursing homes, schools, etc., in the Jackson area. How blessed we are to see the younger generation know God and seek to make Him known through the gifts and talents God has given. We are so proud of them.
Marcia:
She has really grown over the past year. She plays the violen very skillfully and recently played for the Shuman family during the recent Thanksgiving holiday. She has a recital this Christmas season and we look forward to hearing that. Also, Marcia stays active babysitting throughout the week so a Ballet Magnificat teacher can train students in the dance and the things of God. We are so excited to see Marcia bloom and grow into her own person for Jesus.
JAPAN CONNECTION
We have also been involved with the Japan Supplementary School here in Jackson. Samantha teaches. Marcia and Abigail have joined as students. This participation has allowed us opportunity to meet and connect with Japanese people here.We continue to believe God to stir this nation for His Kingdom.
Please pray for us and for Japan!
