Hope in the Lord!

Dear Partners,

Lamentations 3: 25, "The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;"

As we put our hope in Him by seeking Him with all our heart, we may experience His goodness in a fresh way everyday. I thank God for His awesome goodness. And, I thank God for you.

BALLET MAGNIFICAT

God moved mightily at the outreach performance with Ballet Magnificat last Thursday night. Jacob played a prince and Abigail played an angel in separate performances during the night. A lot of people came and a good time was had by all.

M & M

While Mark continues to clean at the church, he helped facilitate a round-table discussion at CLH church on Wednesday night for their regular weekly mid-week service. Michelle continues to work hard at overseeing homeschool and sewing uniforms for the Ballet "Snow Queen" with Ballet Magnificat.

JAPANESE - SPEAKING CHURCH

Perhaps the most exciting event came when we attended the Jackson Japanese-Speaking Church on Sunday afternoon. We had so much fun meeting Japanese people and talking the language. As we sang and worshipped in Japanese, my heart stirred again for the salvation of this precious nation and our wonderful friends we left behind when we returned. We all look forward to attending again soon and serving the Japanese community here as God leads.

Schedule:

  • Wednesday - All family at mid-week service. Mark helping as a facilitator in discussion round-table.
  • Thursday - Jake at Ballet Mag. All the rest of us hanging with the kids at "God`s Haven" in Jackson.
  • Friday - Fun night with some of the "Ballet Mag `ers"
  • Tuesday, November 22 - leave for OH
  • Sunday, November 27 - GFC in Titusville, PA

For His Glory!

Dear Partners,

Psalms 85: "Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land."

God wants His glory to dwell in our land more and more.

The other day, a new Kroger store opened near our house. When we went to check it out, Jacob noticed a young Japanese family shopping there.  After we got our courage up, I spoke to them and we ended up exchanging names and addresses.

This week Michelle and I enjoyed meeting with the Nagata`s. Not only did we get a chance to freshen up on our japanese language, we also had opportunity to develop a relationship with this family residing in our neighborhood so far from their homeland of Japan.

Please pray for us as we have a heart to reach to the Japanese community for the Kingdom of God here in MS. And, please pray for the Nagata family. PTL!

Meanwhile, the kids are doing fine. Samantha was asked to babysit for the weekend. Marcia helped Samantha. And, Abigail stayed the night with her and enjoyed time with a new friend.

Thank you for praying and supporting the kids as they grow and learn here.

Also, please pray for Jake and Abigail. They will perform with Ballet Magnificat at `An Evening with Angels`, presented by the Salvation Army of Greater Jackson`s Women`s Auxiliary. The evening will pay tribute to the `Angels` among us who give selflessly to their families, friends, and community.

Pray for them, and all the kids, that the Glory of God will manifest mightily in and through them. The performance is Thursday night at 7PM.

URGENT PRAYER NEEDED

We have a family and ministry need of a vehicle. Our 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan (215,000 miles plus) has been in the garage a lot recently. And, it appears we will need to replace it soon. Pray that the car holds out for as long as we need it. And, please believe with us as we ask God for a miracle of another car. Thanks!!

We just want to say how we appreciate your partnership with us in the callings God has given us to accomplish as a family.

Thank you for standing with us.

If you are not a partner, we invite you to become a partner with us in the spreading of the Gospel of the Kingdom. May His glory dwell in your land wherever He has placed you.

Remember, He has you there for `such a time as this` to show forth His glory and presence to a dying world.
