Open Letter from Samantha

Dear Friends & Prayer Warriors,

Here is letter from Samantha at Hillsong in Australia:

"Hillsong has been the place for God to mold me and shape me into who He wants me to be like never before. It's like He has begun to shape my foundation according to how strong He wants it to be. it hasn't been the easiest or most fun experience in my life, but it has surely been a great one. 

When i arrived here, i was shown the apartment that i would be living in for the next six months. It was a beautiful place, and i felt like i was a very fancy city girl. However, there was nothing to sit on except the carpet in the living room. God had to teach me how to pray for the things i was going to need and broadened my view to be more thankful with what i have got, and what i am given by Him. There has been no other time in my life that i have been placed in a position of deep thankfulness to Him for the littlest of things taken for granted. 

The courses here at college have given me new perspective for myself and where i stand in this world. I had been told many times before that i am a leader, but doubtfully brushed it off. Now, i know what it means to be a leader - not just a leader in general, but what it means for me personally. I am more confident in the placement and calling that God has me in!

God has been taking me through a time of leaning on him for everything, and trusting in him in a deeper way. Although some moments i have felt as though i was falling, or on the edge of a cliff, God has taught me and still is teaching me how to look to Him and rely on what He says. 

i just want to say thank you to all who have supported me in coming here, and who have invested in my time here at Hillsong college. Words cannot describe how thankful i am for you all who have given towards my future - and please know that it has not gone to waste. It has blessed me in ways beyond expression. Thank you.

Although i am still waiting on God's answers for where he wants to take me next, i know that he is faithful to take care of me in every step. At the moment, i am hoping to stay here for second semester to finish out the year."

The Most Recent Prophetic Word

Dear Partners,

For you who pray for us, support us, or in some way stand with us in this season! Here is our most recent prophetic word:

"God says, the book that He has upon your life, it seems like a page closed shut, a chapter was sealed. But, God says He is getting ready to break the seal wide open upon you once again.

You are getting ready to return like to your first love as far as ministry responsibilities. Your heart has been strong after me, and you have sat and waited, and you have marinated, and you have heard my voice so that you can make the right choice. You both have been in my will, you both have been in my plan, you have been in my purpose all these years. You have not missed anything, you have not lagged behind.

The Lord just wants you to know He is going before you. I am getting ready to open doors that no man can shut. I am getting ready to shut some doors no man can open. The Lord just wants you to know the nations are big in your belly; in your womb. The baby has never died. It is always alive. The baby is starting to kick once again. 

The Lord is wanting you to know that fire, that passion that even Jeremiah had that has been shut up in you in getting ready to be released in even greater measure than all the former days.

I can just see children all around you all; just like a magnet. You are like honey and they are just drawn. They come and taste the Word of God; that the honey is good.

And I just see Michelle, just sitting around exhorting and ministering the Word of the Lord to so many women, to so many leaders, and to people in the Kingdom of God. 

I keep seeing "Third World Nations". I keep seeing on your shoulder "Third World Nations". Third world nations that God is going to connect you to. Their is going to be a launching into that. God is going to have a timing for that; a release for all that. 

Right now, you are in great transition; a transition is coming to a close. It`s like when you walk through a revolving door. It is constantly going around into a big giant mall, a dept. store, or an airport. You just walk in. You are not just going to keep going around the revolving door. You are going to go right  on through, going right on time, right on track to the destiny God has placed in you.

And, Mark and Michelle, I just kept hearing a birthing sound, a groaning sound inside of me. I know it is going on inside of you. I can hear it. I did not bring you to birth to shut the womb. 

There is going to be a full release. There is going to be a maturity. There is going to be a development. He has got supporters, men and women in high places and low places that will financially support you and grace you. 

So, get ready!"
