Greetings in the name of the Lord!
John 2:11 "This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him."
Jesus' first miracle was at a wedding. We are looking to see how God will "show off" at Samantha's wedding.
WEDDING BELLS
Here we are! It's a beautiful Thursday evening as we approach sunset. We are all just sitting around talking and enjoying the evening. With us this evening is our future son-in-law, Samantha's fiancé. As we sit around the living room talking, I am reminded of how much God has truly blessed us in the midst of this season of our lives.
We are so excited about the upcoming wedding of our oldest daughter Samantha. The wedding will be on August 13th at 2 PM. The invitations have been sent and the preparations are in full swing. Although in just a couple of months I will be giving our oldest daughter away, at the same time, I will be gaining a son-in-law who loves God and desires to walk in His ways.
We want to thank all of you who are praying for them (and for us). Your prayers and thoughts mean so much to us as we move forward in our time here in Mississippi.
SUMMER SCHEDULE
Abigail, who just turned 16 in March, has joined the school running team. Since the weather in Mississippi can reach a heat index of over 100 degrees, her practices are held early in the morning. Since the old red VW car I use to drive to Nissan every morning broke down, Michelle has been driving me to work at 5:30 AM, then going home to get Abbie and take her to practice at 7 AM. Fortunately, the company is only about 10 minutes away from the house; and the school even closer.
Michelle and I are so proud of Abigail for taking the initiative to start something new. Thank you for standing with her in prayer throughout the years.
Meanwhile, Marcia, having completed her first year of university, has been working at a children's center this summer. She leases a car through the lease program at Nissan and works long hours to save for the fall semester. She looks forward to returning to Belhaven this August. Please pray for her and that all her needs would be met through Christ's wonderful provision.
Finally, Jacob Micah, after much prayer and consultation, will not be joining the apprenticeship program offered earlier in the year. Instead, we are waiting in anticipation of what God has next for him. We are so proud of Jacob and thank you for all your prayers. I know God has a very special plan for him.
As for Michelle and I, having been married now for 24 years, count ourselves blessed by His great mercy. We also consider ourselves so fortunate to be in connection with you.
ASIAN "Alpha" GROUP
Although taking a break due to the summer months, we are so excited for what God wants to accomplish with this group and remain passionate about God's Kingdom in this place.
We plan to have a good-bye party for Eugene and Kimberly from Malaysia. They will be moving to Missouri later in the summer. We are so blessed to have gotten to know them and look forward to staying in touch as they begin their new season in life.
Please pray for us about this gathering. We truly want to see God's glory revealed.
Prayer Request
1. God's glory to be revealed
2. The Wedding
3. Opportunities to increase and prosper for His name's sake
Blessings!!

Jesus Heals Many People
Dear Friends,
In Matthew 8:14 - 17, it says,
"When Jesus arrived at Peter's house, Peter's mother-in-law was sick in bed with a high fever. But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her. Then she got up and prepared a meal for him.
That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick. This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said "He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases."
Jesus fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah. He took upon himself all of our sicknesses and removed all our diseases. Through the finished work of the cross, He made a way that we could be healed; body, soul, and spirit. May faith arise in our heart to appropriate the truth of His word. May we come into agreement with His word and align ourselves with His purpose and destiny for our lives.
Through His brokenness, we may be made whole. May God give us greater revelation in what Christ accomplished through His death and resurrection.
NOTE: In our last blog, we forgot to give our contact information. If you would like to give to us and Asian "Alpha" group, etc., feel free to send directly to us at:

Connection!
Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,
Thank you for standing with us! It's been a while since my last blog and I'm so glad to have this opportunity to share with you the good things God is doing.
Antioch International Ministries (AIM)
For your information, we are making some changes. While continuing to relate and be ordained as ministers with AIM, at our request, they will no longer handle our ministry finances. We are in the process of creating a new system for giving. In the meantime, any gifts given may be done so to us directly. There will be no tax deduction available and we will not be able to give out tax receipts during this time. However, we will keep you posted on how things develop in the days ahead.
Asian "Alpha" Group
If you follow us on FB, we have posted pictures of our Asian "Alpha" group. God's mighty presence continues to be sensed as we meet and share the basics of what it means to be a Christian. We enjoy meeting together and ask for your prayer as we meet. We have had five Asian nations represented in our living room at some of our meetings! It is awesome! Your giving makes this possible! Thank you!
Wedding Bells
Yes, our oldest daughter Samantha will be getting married on Saturday, August 13th, here in Mississippi. Her fiancé, Wesley Hamlin, loves God and I know they will be so blessed. Please pray for them as they prepare for this very special day and begin their new life together.
Ballet Magnificat (Alpha ministry team)
Micah (Jacob) has been invited to join one of the two professional ballet companies at Ballet Magnificat. We are having a big party to celebrate the end of his Trainee Program time. We are so proud of him. We would like to ask for your prayers as he transitions to this new ministry.
Nursing Program
Marcia will finish her first year of university in preparation to becoming a nurse. We are so grateful to God for her good effort this past year. Please pray for her as she walks in God's direction for her life.
Abigail
She is doing great! She turned sweet sixteen in March. She looks to take her driver's license test this summer and hopes to join track and field at school. She has discovered that she is fast on her feet! Her love of worship and music is coming back in a big way too! And, she continues to dance at Ballet Magnificat.
Thank you for standing with us! We love being in connection with you as we see God's purpose unfold for our lives. Pray for Michelle and I that we will grow in our relationship with Him and experience the favor and breakthrough in our lives to an ever increasing degree. Here is a verse to encourage your faith:
I Corinthians 4:16-18
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
