The Good Shepherd - The Gullands in MS

Hi! We are thanking God for a safe arrival in MS. Jake has already begun going to Ballet Magnificat. And, Samantha and Marcia are preparing for youth camp, which starts on Monday here. Michelle and I loved spending time with Pastor David and Nita Hale yesterday and connecting with others in the church that we will be attending here. Having said all this about MS, we are missing our favorite friends and church family from PA. Abigail, who is staying at the Taylors there, shares of all the fun is having.

We want to thank you for your prayers and support of us as we take this next step to MS in our quest to reach out to Japan and Asia.

JAPAN UPDATE

Just yesterday, I posted on FB a short update from Jeremy and Kumiko Jenkins. As you may know, they are serving in the earthquake and tsunami region where we helped plant a church there. Also, I attached to the FB post an article about how suicides are on the rise in Japan. I know you can agree with us that Japan remains a needy country in need of the comfort, power, knowledge, and salvation that Christ provides. Please keep Japan and us in your prayers as we continue to do and prepare for what God has for us to accomplish in this season.

THE SHEPHERD

In John 10:27 it says, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." When the Holy Spirit speaks, we may recognize His voice in our hearts. I thank God for the opportunity to get to know Him more and listen to His voice more clearly. May we all hear His voice more clearly this week.

PRAYER NEEDS

1. Transition to MS (provision, housing, transportation, kids schooling etc.)
2. Jake and his time at the Ballet Magnificat summer intensive ( spiritual growth and increased dance techniques)
3. Samantha and Marcia as they go to church camp (that they will encounter God in a new way)
4. Abigail (that God will bless her as she stays at the Phil and Alexa Taylor family summer camp (ha,ha) )

FINANCIAL NEEDS

Our AIM mission account remains open with AIM ministries. We have need for one-time gift supporters and those who will partner monthly (especially over the next 6 months or so) as we make this transition to MS. If you are not a partner, we would like to invite you become a partner with us in our heart to reach out to Japan and Asia with the love of God.

Please feel free to email concerning specific areas of involvement and/or send your financial gifts to the following:

Antioch International Ministries
246 Cowden Road
New Wilmington, PA 16142

Please designate that your gifts go to "Mark and Michelle Gulland" (not on the check, but separate piece of paper). Remember, we receive 100% of all gifts given. All gifts are tax-deductible. The greatest need we have at this time is money to cover moving and set up costs to MS. Thank you for your faithful giving.

Respectfully Yours,

Power of Agreement and Impartation

HI! I thank God for you! Your relationship with us means a lot. Just as you partner with Michelle and I at Reign of Grace Ministries (AIM), we partner with many others. This past week, God used us to help connect, via internet, to two ministries in Cambodia. Through this connection, a ministry will get the help it needs to get legal permission to start a "safe house" for children at risk in this needy country. PTL!!

As we take this next step to MS, God has placed a desire in our heart to make a base where we can begin again to reach out to the poor and to the children of Asia. As we prepare for this eventual return to Japan and Asia, we look to God for partnership to carry out this mission. We can not carry out this mission without your help.

PRAYER NEEDS
  • Pray for physical strength as we make the actual move to MS starting June 20th.
  • Pray in agreement for victory in spiritual warfare.
  • Pray that God`s desires for us in MS will come forth.
  • Pray the way of provision for us in MS to be revealed
  • Pray for schools again for the kids.
  • Pray that we can make a base in MS quickly and begin again to reach out to the poor and to the children of Asia.
  • Pray that God will unlock all the provision needed for this transition to MS.

POWER OF AGREEMENT AND IMPARTATION

God wants us to understand the power of agreement. In Ecclesiastes 4: 9,12 it says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:.. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." In this power of agreement, the impartation of partnership remains crucial in the advance of the Kingdom of God. When Moses died, the Word of God in Deut. 34 shares how Joshua was filled with the Holy Spirit because Moses had laid his hands on him. When Elijah was taken up to heaven, Elisha picked up Elijah`s cloak and participated in the same anointing, and even greater anointing, than Elijah. When the company of prophets from Jericho met Elisha, they said, "The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha." Wow! the power of agreement and the impartation of partnership.

When Michelle and I pray for you, this power of agreement activates the work of the Holy Spirit to impart an anointing to receive new passion and vision for the things God has put on your heart. In the same way, when I am overpowered, or when hopelessness comes concerning what God has put on our hearts to do, your prayers of agreement and impartation of partnership release new passion and strength to go forward in the things of God for us. PTL!

May we walk in the power of agreement, receive fresh anointing, and take the next steps God has for each of us in this time and season!

Fresh Encounter, New Assignments

Hi! We are so excited! Thank you family, friends, and partners for standing with us at this time. The service last Sunday at GFC in Titusville proved an awesome experience in His presence. In the atmosphere of praise and worship and sharing from the Word of God, many came forward for ministry and received prophetic words from the Lord; and all experienced a fresh touch from God. I thank God for His strong presence with us!

PENTECOST

This year, the time between Passover (Easter) and Pentecost took place April 25th to June 8th. And, the day we Christians celebrate the Holy Spirit coming at Pentecost is June 12th. During this time, the disciples of Christ were all together in one place, when the Holy Spirit came down from Heaven and filled them with fresh power and divine enablement. I believe God wants us to receive new strength and power and watch for new things to birth at this time.

In Isaiah 6:8 it says, "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, `Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?` And I said, `Here am I. Send me!`" This is a time of fresh encounter with God and new assignments. Let`s ask God to open our spiritual eyes and ears and walk with renewed power in to the destiny God has for us. PTL!

STEP TO MS

Wow! Things are happening so fast! We will be heading out to MS on June 20th and plan to arrive in MS on June 22nd.  Jake begins his Ballet Magnificat Summer Intensive Camp on the 26th.  Upon arriving in MS, we will be looking for housing (while staying with friends).  We continue to ask the Lord as to His desire for us in MS.  While we have been aggressively searching for employment, so far we have not been successful.  Would you please pray with us for the Kingdom of God to be established in the way of provision for us as we go to MS?  Our desire is to make a base where we can begin again to reach out to the poor and to the children of Asia. Yes, we are still need ongoing monthly mission support to function in MS, take short-term trips, and to prepare for our eventual return to Japan and Asia. Already, we have been asked to take a research trip to Cambodia in the late summer.  We can not carry out the mission without your help.

We also will be looking for schools again for the kids.  We have had a successful year here in Titusville, PA.  We so appreciate everyone who has helped us make the transition back to the USA. Looking back, we see how God has taken care of us every step of the way!  He is a strong, faithful, mighty God!!!!  Thank you to everyone and THANK YOU to Jesus!!! We have seen and tasted of the goodness of the LORD!
