BALLET MAGNIFICAT - SUMMER INTENSIVE
This intensive will be Jakes`s fourth. This always proves to be a great spiritual highlight for him. He has been changed in some way each time he participates. Pray for him and this intensive. Your continued prayer support really makes a difference in Jake and for His Kingdom sake.
Provision for Jake`s room and board is still needed. If you would like to invest in his future, you can give to our AIM account, but, please include a note saying it is for Jake. Thanks!
TRIP TO PA/OHIO
I thank God for the opportunity I had to join Michelle and kids for a quick trip to PA/OH. As you know, the kids get their braces adjusted by my brother, Dr. Gulland, who lives in Hermitage. We also enjoyed spending much needed time with our parents and family. Finally, we had an awesome time with Phil and Alexa Taylor; pastors of GFC in Titusville. we would have loved to have seen all of you PA and OH friends, we had one day in PA, one day in Ohio and four travel days (two each way). Thanks for standing with us!
NATION IMPACT
Your partnership allows us to fulfill God`s call on our family to Japan and Asia. While relocating to MS to help meet needs of our kids, especially Jacob, God has opened doors to meet Japanese people. and to have gone on two mission trips to Cambodia and the Philippines.
While in the Philippines, I felt impressed for the need to increase intercession and prayer for the nations. I thank God for what He has accomplished and pray new doors, opportunities, and strategy will come forth in the days ahead.
PENTECOST - THE HOLY SPIRIT
As we approach Pentecost Sunday, God wants to show His love and give us a deeper revelation of the Holy Spirit. For most of us, we have only seen Pentecost in light of the religious church we have been raised in. But God, in these last days has been renewing a fresh revelation of this very important time and been showing us how it relates in the Hebraic calendar.
AS we wait on Him, He wants to empower us to walk intimately with Him; moving forward into greater Kingdom purpose. Did you know there remained a time of 50 days between the resurrection and the giving of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost? Jesus told the disciples to not leave Jerusalem and wait for the gift God the Father promised. (Acts 1:4)
You know, the disciples waited, not knowing what to wait for or how they were to wait. They did not know what to expect. Yet, as they waited on what Jesus had said, the disciples proved their trust in Him.
Waiting provides a great opportunity and time for God to work supernaturally in our situations. God is a miracle working God! AS we wait on Him, we may experience His power in our lives.
Remember, waiting is not wasted time. James 1:4 says that we need to let patience have its perfect work. Just think if the disciples had gone ahead with their plans without waiting on Him. They would have robbed God of the opportunity to give them power to release miracles and see the work of the Holy Spirit. Let`s put our trust in Him, wait, and allow the power of the Spirit to work in our lives in a fresh way this Pentecost season!
