Knowing God as your Father

Dear Partners, Warriors, Friends,

Hi! Thank you for standing with us in prayer and financial support!

KNOWING GOD AS FATHER

God loves us so much! In John 1:14 it says, “And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we {actually} saw His glory (His honor, His majesty) such glory as an only begotten Son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) truth.”

The Bible goes on to say in Hebrews 1:3 that Jesus, “He is the sole expression of the glory of God {the Light-Being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine}, and He is the perfect imprint and very image of {God’s} nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine majesty on high,”

May we remember that Jesus remains the exact expression and representation of God. God shows us His heart in the second person of the trinity. He has not left us as orphans. He has come to us and revealed who He is to us. May we know God as our Father through Jesus the Son and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring “on earth as it is in heaven”!

FAMILY UPDATE

Your partnership makes a great difference! Recently, we enjoyed a great time bowling, as a family, with the Japanese community in Jackson and the surrounding area. What a great opportunity to have gotten to meet Japanese people here in MS.

Meanwhile, Samantha has fun teaching at the Japanese School on Saturday mornings. Please pray her and us as we desire to share the Gospel with the Japanese community here.

Also, the other day, as we hung out with the kids at God’s Haven, we met a boy whose mother and family entered the shelter for help. This boy gave us trouble and didn’t want to listen. Finally, we prayed silently and was lead to show him the guitar. The boy took interest in the guitar immediately and, before you knew it, he began to sing to Jesus in a loud voice. Now, he couldn’t play the guitar for real, but, when he sang, the whole spiritual atmosphere changed!

When we went back to God’s Haven. He showed me his new guitar he had gotten for his birthday. May Jesus be glorified and please pray for the hurting kids who enter this shelter. May God use us to impact this generation for Him.

PHILIPPINNES MEDICAL MISSION OUTREACH (APRIL 2012)

Thanks for considering your part in making this mission outreach a reality. In past years, the team treated over 5,000 people and led nearly 3,000 people to Christ. PTL!! I also look to hang out at an orphanage with some real special kids and learn so much more about God, the Kingdom, and reaching out to those near to God ‘s heart.

I need your help supporting this trip with prayer and/or finances. The cost of the trip will be app. $2,600. I am hoping to have things set by around the end of February. Please pray and ask God what he would have you to give.
