Petitions for the Poor!

Hi! We love and appreciate you all very much! Thank you for your prayers and support of us and the Reign of Grace Ministries (AIM)! We are all well here in MS. Jake is doing great at the Ballet Magnificat summer intensive. And, God continues to watch over us as we take this next step in the journey to Japan and Asia. Thank you standing with us.

JAPAN UPDATE

Just this morning, a moderate earthquake (5.5) hit the Tokyo area. Although there was no damage or danger of tsunami, I am reminded of the magnitude 9.0 earthquake and tsunami that shook the northeastern part of Japan in March. Not only did it cripple a nuclear power plant, but it also created much damage of property with nearly 23,000 people dead or missing. Let's continue to pray and remember the relief efforts being undertaken at this time.

Here is an update and post from facebook by Jeremy and Kumiko Jenkins serving with the church there:

We went to another kindergarten in Kesennuma on Monday. It was a kindergarten run by a baptist church. We talked about how much God loves them and how God is so much bigger than all the shakings and scary things they have faced. The kids really listened and received well, and we had a great time singing and dancing with them too! Afterwards, we went to the port area and worshipped and prayed for the city. A bus full of elderly people stopped as we sang worship to God.

Continue to pray for J & K and the church in Sendai. And, remember to pray for us as we seek to follow God in what He has put on our hearts to accomplish in taking this next step to MS. PTL!!

PETITIONS FOR THE POOR

In Isaiah 41: 17, it says "The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them." Here we read how God would again meet them, the afflicted captives in Babylon, and provide for all their need. In a similar way, these words may apply to all His people.

Indeed, in the journey God has you on, you may feel weary, faint, and thirsty at times. Yet, God promises to come and refresh and meet with you. He opens fountains and plants trees in the desert so that His people may make the whole journey through and complete the trip. He provides for what it is you really need.

This week, let`s pray that God will not only meet with and refresh the poor and needy of Asia, but let`s pray that He will meet with and refresh each of us as we journey on in Him. Blessings to you!

PRAYER COMMITMENT

I want to thank those of you who partner with us financially each week and/or month. As we partner together, God moves among us to create on earth as it is in heaven. He establishes His will on the earth. We pray for your blessing and provision as we come together for the advancement of the Kingdom of Heaven. PTL! May you have an abundant harvest on each seed sown.

SUPPORT AND PARTNER INFORMATION

Our AIM mission account is with AIM ministries. We have need for one-time gift supporters and those who will partner monthly as we make this transition to MS and begin to establish a base in which to reach out to Japan and Asia. If you are not a partner, we would like to invite you to become a partner with us in the love of God.

Please feel free to email concerning specific areas of involvement and/or send your financial gifts to the following:

Antioch International Ministries
246 Cowden Road
New Wilmington, PA 16142

Please designate that your gifts go to "Mark and Michelle Gulland" (not on the check, but separate piece of paper). Remember, we receive 100% of all gifts given. All gifts are tax-deductible. The greatest need we have at this time is money to cover moving and set up costs to MS. Thank you for your faithful giving.

Respectfully Yours,
Mark & Michelle Gulland
