Hi! We truly appreciate your partnership with us. You are helping us communicate God`s heart of love for the Japanese and Asian people and helping stir us to action in bringing expansion to ministry, on both sides of the Pacific, for the Kingdom of God. Thank you so much.
JAPAN
Our friends Jeremy and Kumiko Jenkins shared how they took a relief team and visited a shelter. As they talked to the 20 kids there, they reported how everyone of them received Jesus and got saved. Jeremy says they, "have never seen anything like it." Being that it was a government run shelter, they were surprised at the freedom and power of God`s awesome presence. They, along with the relief team, will be going again on Friday and doing a concert for the adults. Let`s pray God moves mightily in their midst.
Remember, if you would like to make a special donation to help with the effort, please feel free to refer to Grace Fellowship Church of Titusville at gfctitusville@gmail.com to get all the details. Thanks!
MISSISSIPPI
God truly blessed us with a wonderful opportunity to travel to Mississippi again (March 28 to April 3) to connect with friends and be there for the annual Ballet Magnificat performances. Jake not only got to attend all the performances, he also had a chance to practice with the Alpha company and help with the set up and tear down before and after. He looks forward to participating in the summer intensive program this summer. Please pray for him as he prepares. The weather did not disappoint; very spring-like. And, God gave us an opportunity to share about Japan at the Wednesday night service there. Thank you for praying for us.
p.s. Jake will be needing support for his trip again this summer. Would you prayerfully consider making a special gift to help make this possible? Thanks!
BY FAITH
God shared in His Word that ".. without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." One man who sought after God was Peter. When Jesus came walking on the water, Peter said, "Lord, if it`s you, tell me to come to you on the water." After Jesus tells him to come, Peter gets out of the boat, walks on the water, and comes toward Jesus. Wow! You know, when you think about it, he expected a miracle; and got it. Someone once said that expectation is acting in the direction as if the miracle has already happened. So, if we are to increase faith, we need to organize, plan, talk about, and believe for the expected miracle.
Well, as with many of us, Peter, when he sees the wind, becomes afraid, and begins to sink. At that time, he cries out to God, "Lord, save me!" Immediately, Jesus reaches out his hand, catches him, and climbs into the boat with Peter. I thank God that even when we doubt like Peter, if we cry out to Him, He will reach out His hand, catch us, and climb in the boat with us. Through this experience, Peter came to truly gain a revelation of Jesus as the Son of God; the One who calms the storms.
No matter where God commands us to "go" or "come", God promises to be with us. Even in the midst of a storm (difficult situations), God will be our ever present help in time of need. Let`s reach for Him in a new way this week and expect a miracle. Thank you for praying for us.
